The exterior surfaces of the 32 ft. diameter sphere is illuminated asymmetrically to enable varied visual effects to be viewed from different locations. This view from the front of the building is softly illuminated showing the effects lighting (the red dots on the surface of the sphere) to be completely visible.  The result is economical and unique.  At the time of this photograph the lighting of the support structure for the sphere was in the works, although you can see one bay on the right side which is lighted.
